OK, things have been going great for a few months now. I got it so my TV pauses and anounces my callers. Very cool. All of a sudden it stopped working.
Looking into it, it seems that CID is not comming through at all. So, when it takes messages they all come through with blank information. The log also showes no CID.
I have not made any changes to the system at all! It just stopped. I've had other problems before, but never with CID comming through.
I tried rebooting the machine and the W2C modem. No luck. Any ideas out there?
oh, I have some phones plugged directly into the phone lines ( not through the W2C) and I see the CID on those phones, so the phone company is doing their part.....
