Do you have the com port type set to HomeSeer?

As for updating to the latest, try this:

      1. Disable plugin
      2. Check and make sure that the HSPI_BLRussound.exe is not running (kill it if u have to)
      3. Update the plugin
      4. Re-enable the plugin
      Cheers,
      Bob

thx blade for the quick reply

I did try to update with the plugin disabled.

I will check if the exe is running and try again.

I am using 2 CAV66 controllers and 11 uno-s2 zones with no issues

On the options page are you using the com port type of HomeSeer?
            Cheers,
            Bob

Hmmm... post a screen shot of your options page

                Also, do the following:

                1. Disable BLRussound
                2. Edit hspi_BLRussound.ini and change debugLevel=true and save INI file
                3. Re-enable BLRussound

Once it has been up and running for about 30 seconds, then go to the options page and disable debug logging

Attach the BLRussound-Detailed.log file zipped. It is in the HS3 root folder
                Cheers,
                Bob

What does com port type homeseer do? I've been using mscomlib since day one.

It is just the method of com port control
I have found that the "HomeSeer" one works the best for me and I recommend that one for Windows
                    Cheers,

Do you think switching to homeseer might help with some of the issues I see on occasion?

The issues seem to almost be entirely squashed at this point I might add. Good work Bob and thanks!

I switched the port to homeseer

                        stopped and restarted the plugin

Using control panel I tested all on command

                        It worked!

But the source and zone names still do not update
Issuing all off does not work either.

                        Some progress...

                          What controller are you using?
I will need a debug log to see why the devices are not updating

                          1. Disable plugin
                          2. Check and make sure that the HSPI_BLRussound.exe is not running (kill it if u have to)
                          3. Update the plugin
                          4. Re-enable the plugin

Capture the issue and then disable debug logging and attach the debug log zipped
                          Cheers,
