Hi - I have a ridiculous seeming problem
I have recently bought a Hometroller SEL-PRO and it seems to connect to my network fine when it's plugged into a screen and keyboard. When I shut it down and move it to where I want to put it, it won't connect. Blue power light comes on, but it never connects.
Plugged into a screen, I can see that it goes to the GUI login prompt. If I plug it into my wired network, it appears with two IP addresses (wired and wifi) happily. If I unplug the patch cable and reboot it, it appears with one (wired) IP happily.
When I shut it down and move it to another location, it does not appear on the network, with or without the patch cable connected.
When I plug a keyboard only in, it still does not appear on the network.
When I move it back to my desk and plug in a screen and keyboard, it boots straight to the GUI and appears on the network.
It feels like it's mocking me!!! What the hell is going on?!?
