I have tried every setting she has under "Bluetooth" and HS does not pick up her phone.

Under Bluetooth she has, 1-Activation, 2-Visibility, 3-Device List, 4-My Phone's name, and 5-Device address.
1=On
2=On
3=Kia Motors and Starport-01
4=Alcatel one touch 888A
5= the MAC address

Delete the pairing in windows, delete all numbers under paired= entry in settings.txt and save.

Does it now detect the cell?

I deleted everything and started over.
It didn't work ???
Then I unplugged the BT dongle, plugged it back in, reset everything up and now it works like it should.
Go figure???

Me too.

I hate having bt drain my phone battery and also to have it abruptly turned off by powersaving profiles of the phone.

I know at least tod advertises open API. It's only natural for them to open up their platform to expand their market, cause they're not in the business of selling software. (The software that comes with these devices suck )

Why would I be getting these errors.

It seems to be working ok, but I am getting this error. But, I do not have any idea on what it means, could someone give me a hint of what I might be doing wrong. I seems to be working fine. Right now I just have it notifying who is coming in the front door. It is making the announcement. I am using it on HS2. I use to use it to turn my oxygen machine on and off and it worked perfect. But I got a different type of machine so I haven't been using the plug in. Then when I saw the update, I thought I would try it again and would be great to tell who is coming the front door. But I am getting this crazy error, and have no idea on why or what it means.

I moved your post to here as you posted on the Homeseer 3 Bluetooth thread. There has not been an update recently for the Homeseer 2 version.

I'm not sure what is causing the error so would you please email me your Jon00BluetoothV2.ini file to look at.

Maybe be cause I put the newer version on it, I thought it was good for both version 2 and 3. I said its working fine, just getting those errors. Thank you for your help. What version and where do I find it for homeseer 2. I am running both for now.

When you go to my HS site, select downloads, then Homeseer 2 (for the HS2 version). If you want the HS3 version, select downloads, then Homeseer 3.

You cannot run both the Homeseer 2 and Homeseer 3 Bluetooth clients on the same PC at the same time as they cannot share the Bluetooth dongle hardware.

Unsure on what I have done.

I guess I am confused, or something. I went to the web site, went to HS2 downloads and down loaded the Bluetooth program. I never had problems before, but I had thought there was an upgrade, so I downloaded the software it told me to down load. Installed it step by step. But, I am now getting an error. I didn't get any error or have any problems until I upgraded. I went back and made sure I downloaded the right one for HS2 and installed it. I am still getting the same error as I was getting earlier.

Are you running an event to run the script? If you are, then you need to delete the event. Everything is controlled by the jon00 Blue clients.
