    Hi Jon,

You helped me with this rss feed in the past. I noticed that the feed recently stopped working with your script. The URL feed has changed from http to 443. If I paste in the old url in a browser it will redirect to 443 fine.

    HS3 Log Error:
The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden

    Will your script handle https?

    old url:
    http://alerts.weather.gov/cap/wwaatm...p?x=TXC439&y=1
    new url:
    https://alerts.weather.gov/cap/wwaat...p?x=TXC439&y=1

    Thanks,
    tamu

It should do, however neither URL you posted is a RSS feed?

Your right, when I quickly checked it did not look like a feed as no information was being displayed.

To be honest, I'm struggling to get this work despite trying numerous different headers to accept the request.

I think this is the same feed and what headers I had to use - seemed to work for me, https://forums.homeseer.com/showthre...41#post1285241

Thanks Adam....I already had that BUT it was not activated...Doh. I forgot I added a second method to download data.

              Tamu:

Add Mode=1 to your ini file under the respective [FeedX] entry.

              It requires V1.0.5 or later.

Have you run the script without any parameters which will create/update the devices with the RSS feed?
                    Jon

A script cannot run continually to check when new news arrives so you have to poll the feed at regular intervals. It all depends on how often feeds are updated as to what period you select.

Yes you need create a Homeseer recurring event as your timer.

                            I need your help.
I run the Rss Event every 5 Minutes but no news change in Virtual Devices and if i want to pass the parameters in Rss Event also nothing change.

                            Why ?

                            Thanks

Have you checked the feed has been updated? The virtual device will not update unless that feed has changed.
