    Event not working

    Brian,
I am having trouble getting an event set up. In homeseer, I have one event that turns on several lights. It is triggered by a palm pad (E4 on) and the event is called "dining room mood lights on".
I have a second event (E4 off) that turns the lights off.
I have tried to set up the events in the scenes setup and also tried to set it up as a device (E4 on/off) but neither way seems to work.
Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,
The easiest way to set this up is based on the E4 trigger. Take a look at the picture below. Let me know if you have any questions.

For the above event, this is an example of what would be triggered:

Set up the event as you suggested and still not working. The HS log does show the X-10 trigger but nothing happens. One thing I do notice in the log when I use the palm pad to trigger the event, I get the following:
      MR26A Debug Received: E4 On Time: 67.98 Data: 80-18 on COM5
      2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM MR26A Debug Retransmitting: E4 On
2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM X10 Received E4 ( dining room dining room mood lights) E On
2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM Info Event Trigger "mood lights on"
2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM Info Device: dining room Kokapelli light (D4+7) ON
      2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM MR26A Debug Received: E4 On Time: 68.09 Data: 80-18 on COM5
      2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM MR26A Debug Received: E4 On Time: 68.20 Data: 80-18 on COM5
      2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM MR26A Debug Received: E4 On Time: 68.31 Data: 80-18 on COM5
      2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM MR26A Debug Received: E4 On Time: 68.42 Data: 80-18 on COM5
      2/7/2009 10:14:28 PM MR26A Debug Received: E4 On Time: 68.53 Data: 80-18 on COM5

When I use the event in HAControl, all I see is:
      2/7/2009 10:22:34 PM Error Web Server Error 404, cannot serve file: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\html/HAControl/gel_blue_devices
      2/7/2009 10:22:37 PM HAControl Triggering X10 - E4 on

      Then nothing else!

      Thanks,
      Dave

        Ok, lets try this,
Here is the setup in the Scenes Module:

and here is the Event in HomeSeer:

So in this example, if you hit the button 'Day', it will run the 'DayNight - Day Time' Event. If you hit 'Night', it will run the 'DayNight - Night Time' Event.

        Hope this helps.
