    Marantz SR6007

    Hi Bob,

Trying out your BLMarantz plugin but it doesn't seem to be communicating with my SR6007. Should that model work?

The IP address is correct, I used the port number that shows up on the "service menu" (10443), same friendly name as on the receiver and the IP listening feature is "on". The receiver pings ok on the network.

The receiver doesn't respond to HS3 induced commands (like Standby or On),
and it isn't updating or showing the SR6007 as being On or Standby when I manually turn the receiver on.

The plugin also displays 3 zones (Z1 - 2 - 3) each with its own input, mute, power and volume whereas my SR6007 only has 2 zones.

Thanks as usual...would really like to be able to detect when the power is on.
    Happy Holidays!
    Chris

Just trying this myself on my AV7702 mkII and made the same assumption about the service menu port. That is not the right port to use. It should be port 23 (same as used for telnet). Found it in the Marantz networking docs on my receiver. Once I changed to that, I was golden.

    Have fun!
