    Questions / Hardware

    Hello,

I think I finally found a security system for my son that can be controlled by HomeSeer (this plug-in), and has a board for IP monitoring, and can use the 319.5MHz wireless sensors that exist already.

Questions for anybody who may know...

Can you use the Home Automation Interface (NX-584E) with the DL900 programming software, or are you required for some reason to use the NX-586E Quicklink Direct Connect device?

Can the plug-in connect using the IP module or is it RS-232 only?
Can the programming software use the IP module or is it RS-232 only?

    Thanks!
    Regards,

    Rick Tinker (a.k.a. "Tink")

IF you mean the DL900 software, then the answer is yes, but I never tried it. I don't have the IP module
