Is it possible to configure both an old hometroller with HS2 Insteon plugin and a hometroller S6 with HS3 Insteon plugin to connect to a single Insteon Hub 2 at the same time? Seems like it would work, but not sure if there would be any data collisions.

yes you can configure both hometrollers to connect to the same hub. What you may have trouble with is status tracking between the two status pages. you might need to add the following to the [Config] section of both insteon.ini files to help with this:
shutdown the plugin and/or hs before messing with the ini fileProcessACKs= TrueMark
