    Neil,
Does it change the device string of the DS10 device?
It is setting the value to 100 for Alert and 0 for Normal.
    Your event should trigger.
    Cheers,
    Bob

      Bob,

      Yes !

If I click on the device management and open the device

go to advanced tab then the value has changed from 0 to 100

the string has changed from normal to alert

The event will fire with a run (play) button click but won't fire when the door opens.

What trigger are you using for your event?

I have been thinking of adding triggers to BLRF. I will do that this weekend.
        Cheers,

I have been trying device value changed to 100.

I will leave it alone for now until you work on it for a while.

What does the Press radio button do in the "call" page ?

IF I open a ds10 device under device management then open the BLRF tab there is a "call" entry and then under that is a "PRESS" button.

Just wondered what it is for ?

Create an event and choose a BLRF trigger
                        Cheers,

I was afraid you were going to say somthing that simple; however, I don't have that as a choice.
