Video playback stops when HS speaks

I've noticed that when I have the plugin enabled and I'm watching a video that even with "Send Speak Actions as XBMC GUI Notifications: No" whenever HS speaks playback stops, if TV is off Kodi will turn TV on. Is there any sort of workaround for this?

Do you have the AirplaySpeak plugin running? it may try to send TTS to Kodi.
You can disable Airplay features from Kodi settings.
