Can you check how the plugin file is named?

It should be "HSPI_Caddx.exe" (watch the capitals) and the date of the exe?

I stopped the plug-in and checked the box to load the new version. After about 5 secs, it said the update failed. This is the error in the startup log...

10/28/2016 10:58:00 AM ~!~Error~!~Error, Class not found in plugin EXE, maybe namespace is not correct,? Note filename is case sensitive!: hspi_Caddx.exe Class: hspi_Caddx.HSPI->

I want to revert back to 3.1.0.0 until this is resolved. I have never had to recover back to a previous version before. What would be the process to restore to 3.1.0.0.

      New Version

This is the file structure under the Caddx3.2.0.0 directory under folder Update3

      CADDX_Images (zip) 4/6/2015
      Homeseer Caddx plug-in V3.1 Doc 4/6/2015
      HSPI_Caddx (app) 10/24/2016
      HSPI_CADDX_3-2-0-0 (zip) 10/28/2016
      install (txt) 4/6/2015

Also when I look under the PLUGIN > Manage > Additional Interfaces > Security section and view the versions it says 3.2 is available and 3.4 is installed. Also the update that failed removed the 3.1 plugin from the installed plugin list

You're right, I have to fix the version info.

But I need to know how the exe is named in the HS root ?

In the Homeseer HS3 directory, the executable that is there is named:

hspi_Caddx.exe. All the rest begin with HSPI_xxx

Just restart HS or the plugin from the manage menu, but it might be missing at the moment

                      New Version

I can now see it in the PLUGINS menu. Looks like I will need to reconfigure over again or can I find a backup config that I could replace the new one with?

                          Correct !!!

I updated the package in the updater just now, 2 solve the issue you encounter

Existing users who do the upgrade should be aware that they need to set their com port again, because that was changed to make it easier to select an existing com port for both windows as linux.

                            New Version

I am able to reconnect to the panel. How do I tell what version I am running right now? Is it the 3.4 that is listed as "installed"?

CADDX is now listed as a REMOTE PLUGIN at the bottom of the list????

Should I risk doing an update from the updater again or leave well enough alone?

You can leave it. And I guess it will tell you that's current if you reload the plugin list
