Adding New Activities & Devices

I read a lot of threads but could not find the answer to my question...

Do I have to delete the current devices and activities after I make a change (ie adding a new A/V receiver in Harmony Hub) before I scan for new ones?

Plugin is not finding the changes unless I delete the devices and activities which breaks my associated events with device referenced no longer available error.

You just have to rescan and create the devices. The plugin does not delete any device itself, but will create new ones.
