Timer only resets to sum of WAIT times

I've set up a watch dog timer to kick a motion sensor. The idea is that every few seconds, the sensor is told to change colors - white - then - blue. That allows me to ensure HS3 is communicating with the sensor. It's crude, but honestly these HSM200s are so unreliable, it's the only thing I've found to work to keep them awake.
The problem is, my timer, instead of resetting to 0, will reset to the summation of any Wait periods in the event. I tested this many times and cannot find a way around the problem.
Any ideas, or more likely errors you see?

BTW: The times are arbitrary in the example. Just testing now.
