Trying to add new HEM (Gen5) with errors

I bought a Aeon Labs HEM Gen5 to replace my 2nd generation which would constantly throw firmware messages in the logger and occasionally one of the amp legs would stop reporting. I would have to remove and re-add the device to get it back. I hope this new one solves that, but I had some issues getting it up and running. I tried to add it securely and it would just give errors. I then move it closer to the Z-NET since I saw that others had issues when it was further away. After I got it within inches of the Z-NET, some of the errors stopped, but I still had a few, and it wouldn't create the 8 child nodes required. Only after I added it non-securely did everything add successfully. Now, this isn't a big deal for a power meter, but I don't like the fact that it wouldn't add under the secure mode. Here's an excerpt from the logger:

I don't think it can be added securely.
