Keep getting version mismatch error. Help!

I have the latest Windows Media Plugin as well as the latest WMP 10.

However, when HS 2.1.104 starts, I get an error stating:

"Windows Media Plugin requires Windows Media Player Version 9.0 or higher. You have Version 10.x.x.x.x" (I forget the exact version number as this is a pop-up box that disappears after 30 seconds or so).

Any idea why I am getting this and thus unable to use the plug-in?

    TIA!

    Paul

Do you have the latest version of the Media player plugin from the HS updater?

Yup. Per the updater, I have version 2.0.0.12 installed.

We saw this error about a year or so bad but not since. What OS are you running?

XP with SP2 on a 2.4 ghz Pentium 4 with 1 gig of RAM.

This is a semi-new HS2 install meaning that I installed it into a new directory and then copied over my sample databases to get my devices and events into the new install was I had it working.
