For anyone upgrading to .357 it might be worth mentioning what OS you are using and what version you are updating from. Some are updating from Betas and other are updating from .318 the previous final release.
I always take a full backup before upgrading as it saves on those "how do I roll back" dilemmas. For anyone using Raspberry Pi or similar a full image saves a lot of hair pulling in the event of a failed upgrade.

Personally I am befuddled here seeing these issues with V.357 as there were both Windows and Linux users testing the HS3 betas.
As disabling the plugins didn't work the I would try one more thing.
1 - shut down HS3
2 - back up the entire HS3 directory
3 - rename HS3 directory
4 - install HS3 new
5 - see if the same issues exist
then
1 - delete your new HS directory
2 - copy renamed old directory to HS directory
3 - downgrade your homeseer version back to where it was when it was working or
4 - restore a back up before you upgraded to V.357 and
Wait for Rich to respond today or Monday?
Note that if you have the HS directory backed up you will not lose anything.
Do not get frustrated if nothing works. Just restore a back up to where you were before the upgrade.- Pete

On upgrade the license info in the plugins page disappeared and the said built into hs. see set up.
now nothing works
I don't have the solution. It seems a licensing issue. Normally HS addresses these issues very fast.

how do i downgrade ? without copying and pasting from a backup
Install the version you were using before upgrading to V.357.
I am guessing the install versions of HS3 for windows are archived here some place.
Personally when running HS2 I would always save install and upgrade versions of HS2.
Not sure how to do this with Homeseer 3 for Windows.
Here save all updates and install versions of HS3 for Linux.
The install HS3 version 318 for Windows is still posted under downloads:
hxxps://homeseer.com/updates3/SetupHS3_3_0_0_318.msi
I am not sure where the upgrades for Windows HS3 are kept.
BEFORE doing this make sure you keep a back up of the directory. That is the most important piece of this stuff.
Make sure that Homeseer is not running when you are playing around with the directories.
You will not mess anything up have multiple renamed Homeseer directories or copies of directories.Last edited by Pete; September 9, 2017, 12:40 PM.- Pete

New release doesn't work with my IP address
I have a problem with the new release regarding the webpage. I have the HS webserver set to 8080.
http://127.0.0.1:8080 works
http://192.168.168.11:8080 used to work now broken
Yes I checked that the server's IP address has not changed. The start-up log doesn't show anything I can see that wrong. When it starts up, it tries to launch 192.168.168.11:8080 and breaks (used to work). I thought I'd try the loop-back address and that works.
Please help. Several different scripts etc. using the 192 address.
Thanks.
