The RCS X10 stats do not provide feedback as to whether your heater or air conditioner is running. You would need to come up with your own method and create a device that tracks it. Since this would be a highly customized application, I have no plans to provide direct support with the plug-in.
Some users have worked with current detectors to detect when a motor for the furnace is running. I was going to try having a piece of paper taped inside of air return duct along with a cheap X10 motion sensor. If paper moves and causes X10 motion sensor to see motion, then fan is on. This would only work for my AC because I have hot water heat with no air circulation. For heating, I would need to monitor the status of the pump motor.
