    Epson projector control

I'd really like to see an PI that can control my (networked) Epson PowerLite 5040UB. I.e., at least turn it on/off, maybe select source?

Anything out there that would do the trick? (I don't want to go IR).

    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Chris

Were you able to control your projector through IP? Would like to do the same with the Epson 4000.

Dang...good thing you asked because I've been really busy and completely forgot about looking this up.
So, no, I haven't tried it, but will add it to my list.
          Thanks!

Just recently automated a couple Epson projectors for a customer using Global Cache. The small IR emitter attached to the front of the projector is barely visible.

Easy to capture the IR commands from the units remote control, using Global Cache Pro PI.

An Epson PlugIn would have been sweet.

Seems like an option but am really interested in doing it through the IP connection that is available now. If anyone has been able to do this let me know.

Hey did you ever find a way for Homeseer to control the Epson 5040UB? I have the same projector and was wondering what the easiest/best way to control it.

                Thanks
