    Brian,

    I don't think you can compare the values of two devices with standard HS3 events but you can do it if you have the EasyTrigger plug-in. EasyTrigger adds lots of useful triggers, conditions, grouping etc.

    Alternatively it is relatively easy to compare device values with a script if you can program.

    A further alternative, for what you are doing, would be to give my free Virtual Thermostats plug-in a try (SDJ-VStat).

        If you need any help with the plugin just start a thread in the sub forum. The guide might not be as clear as it could be..
