    UVN800 issue...

    Bert,

I have recently replaced my dead UV sensor with a new Oregon Scientific UVN800.

It adds correctly as a UV2 sensor, but neither updates nor produces a timeout...

Attached a screen shot of what it looks like (it just shows "off")

Something isn't working as expected I think... I am running the most-up-to-date version of RFXCOM as per the updater

    Thanks!

    Sandro

Set the device value to a different value as zero.
After this the sensor will update (I guess).

        Fixed

Bert, changed the device value to 255 with a script command, and it almost immediately changed automatically to "0 (low)" with the status graphic - looks like it's working OK now.

Thanks for the tip on how to fix it!

        Cheers

Find the device Reference ID ??? on the device Advanced tab,

Tools - Control Panel - Immediate Script Command
            &hs.setdevicevaluebyref(???,100,true)

              Excellent, thank you!
It worked. I used the script above, I assume I then did set the value to 100...

Icon immediately changed to yellow ON, and after a minute then changed to a vertical status slider indicating some green with value 0 and text "low".
