I am new to this forum and to Home Automation for that matter. But I have found some great info here, so thanks to all the contributors... On to my question.
I am currently setting up HS3 on a MacMini running OSX. I was able to get HS up and running, but I am having some trouble with getting it to load on boot. I followed the instructions on the post

Then I tried to add the startup item but it always prompts for a password. I want to make sure my system comes back online after a power failure without manually putting my PW. (Even though I will have a UPS) Should I be doing this with an Automator script? Can I force the startup item to run with admin privileges? I am really not sure how this works, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am very comfortable on a PC, but I am truly a noob in Linux and MAC.
