remote desktop - leave audio at server

I've set a WHS 2011 server with HomeSeer and also use it for audio, however I want to be able to connect to it via Remote Desktop but as soon as I do that the sound stops and doesn't resume. I've tried all the info I can about putting tick box in leave audio at computer, tried changing some settings on the server but cannot seem to connect via RDP without disturbing the audio.

Anyone manged to sort this issue?

I use Windows XP and selected leave audio at server and I also use the .bat file to disconnect the remote session as that ensures that the logged in user on the HS server is not logged off and the sound works great. See this thread for the information in the .bat file.
