Browsing to connected11.homeseer.com does not require authentication after reboot

I just finally installed my upgrade to HS3 (.368) after not really making any changes to my HS2 system for the past couple of years.

I noticed today at work that after rebooting my work desktop machine, browsing directly to https://connected11.homeseer.com (rather than myhs.homeseer.com) brought up my homeseer system without requiring any authentication. I had logged in yesterday via the MyHS.homeseer.com page, where I did have to enter my creds, but they were not required today when forceful browsing to https://connected11.homeseer.com.

Can anyone comment on how mMyHS authentication is actually working? I find it a bit disconcerting that after a reboot I wasn't required to enter my credentials.

    Thanks.

That was it. Strange thing was I was browsing using a Chrome Incognito window, which doesn't cache the cookies, so I figured it wasn't related to the creds getting cached. BUT I also had a non-Incognito window open. I'm still not sure why it would have saved the cookie after the Incognito session was closed, but that seems to be what happened. If I close any non-Incognito windows before logging into MyHS, my creds don't persist.

      Thanks!
