Connect 2 Rain8 RS232

Hi,

I have two modules RAIN8 RS232.
How do I connect the two modules for up to 16 valves?

Hello, Michel.

See attached diagram for wiring.

You will also need the Rain8Net Config program to set up. You can find that at the bottom of this page.

The network cable is RJ45 standard?
I have 2 plug, i connect on plug #1 (right) RAIN8 #1 and to plug #1 (right) on RAIN8#2 ?

You're welcome, Michel.

Yes, I believe that's it. I'm not at home now to double check (I have the Rain8Net Pros). Here is the manual for the Rain8Net that explains the wiring and config process.

You can use any standard CAT-5 cable to connect the two units.
