    HAI Plugin Beta - v3.0.1.17

Travis - I think the plugin was throwing an exception and dying during RequestOutputStatus. This version will report the error and not kill the plugin - try it out and let me know.

    Changes in this version:
    • Put in some additional error checking around RequestOutputStatus.

Attached is the plugin and updater_override.txt files. Here's how to install this beta without using the updater:
    • Copy the attached zip file to your Updates3/Zips folder.
    • Copy the attached updater_override.txt file to the HS3 root folder.
    • From the Manage Plugins page, disable the HAI plugin if it is running.
    • Click on Update Listing.
    • You should see the HAI Plugin Beta listed.
    • Select and install the plugin.

**Note - if you are using Linux, make sure you copy the updater_override.txt file and preserve the /r/n line feeds - transfer it in binary and you should be fine.

When the plugin installs and runs for the first time, it will remove the updater_override.txt automatcially.

***Backup your current installation so you can revert back if needed!!

Travis - remove the INI file setting updateunits before you load this version. This will ensure the units get updated just in case it died before it got to that point. If it's not already in there, that's ok.

      Hi Rob,

I removed the entry in the INI file as requested and even with .17 results appear to be the same:

ok - I updated the ZIP in the first post above - re-download it and see if that gets you going. I think I found the problem.

          Hi Rob,

Ok that install seemed to work. Not sure if there is any issue with the lines that say "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." or not. Now I can start playing and give any feedback I can on this version! Let me know if you need me to do anything else on this end.

            Hey Rob,

            3.0.1.17 Observations so far:

            1) Unit Device Conversion worked great for Dim and Numbering settings and is fully functional with the Echo API! Thanks a ton for this...big kudos.
            2) During Unit Device Conversion my custom graphics were spared but due to the shifting, my Dim Range Graphics and my On Graphics were swapped so I have to remap the references for those two pics.
            3) During Unit Device Conversion my preference for the custom casing for the name "On" and "Off" were replaced with "ON" and "OFF".

            Thanks again,

            -Travis

ah - sorry about the shifting graphics. In my effort to preserve, they numbering was off. It wont do that again as long as updateunits=false is in your INI file (it writes that when it's done).

I didnt even think about the ON/On changes - I'll take that out.

You should be good to go! Those Object reference not set.... are only during updateunits - you shouldnt see them again.

No problem, expected this kind of issue when renumbering!

No big whoop here either, thanks though!

Yep, good to go, added as stated.

Something else I noticed as maybe a more natural way to control the devices from the device list, as well as show more items on screen, could you maybe consider changing the device status rows and columns to the example for Annie's bedroom (Custom) vs Aubrie's bedroom (Default)?

                What do you think?

                Thanks Rob!!!

Thank you Rob for the update to V.17.

                  Updated here to V.17.

Had some issues with the updater override file so I removed the txt part of it, transferred it and renamed it and it worked fine. (Linux to Linux transfer).

Lighting shows up fine as X10, UPB, Z-Wave and Zigbee.

One zone appears to be stuck.

Rear Foyer - IR NOT READY 254 NOT READY

It shows ready with PCA and the HS2 plugin.

Will disable plugin. Remove variables, enable plugin and let it auto add variables.

All variables showed up fine after letting plugin repopulate.

If I dim a UPB device from another PIM (like HS2) the HAI UPB variable shows correct dim status.

                    Hey Rob,

All well here other than the log is filling up with some HAI Event Log stuff it looks like. The log is filling up with these really fast, if this seems really fast for Debug Mode, maybe some stuff happening that you don't expect?

Here my rear foyer PIR went back to sticking to not ready on the configuration page and fine on the variable page.

SECURE HAI HAI Zones Rear Foyer - IR

                      On HS2 it shows:

What does PC Access say Pete?

                          It says secure.

                          Status ==> secure
                          Loop ==> 148
                          Current ==> secure

Now checking HAI plugin status and it is the same. It just appears a bit sticky where as the variable stays in secure mode.

The hallway is off of the kitchen and wife is in the kitchen such that the variable is always going to not ready to secure. I probably just shouldn't be paying attention to that one.

Seeing the same loop number lags with the HS2 HAI plugin today.

PCA shows loop values instantly. HAI zone variables are also almost instantly changing.

OmniTouch 5.7 (serial) / 5.7e / Snaplink and Omnitouch Pro shows zone changes instantly.

                            Updated the RPi2 - Zee-2 today to HS3 V.269.

Last update attempt included updating Mono which trashed a few things on my Zee-2.
