I'm a little confused about the plugin configuration. I'm running version 3.0.0.15 with a Vista20P panel, with four keypads and an AD2USB. I'm looking at the Help page of the plugin and it refers to "Keypad addresses" that I need to enter in the 'Interface Address' on the Settings tab, and also in the 'Device Address' in the Partitions tab.
However, in speaking with ADT they confirmed that none of my keypads (I have four) have keypad addresses - only the security devices have addresses.
Furthermore, the plugin seems to work when I enter Zone 18 into both fields on the two tabs - despite the fact that Zone 18 is assigned to a motion detector in my kitchen. And the plugin properly picks up motion activity on Zone 18 when configured this way.
There's also something else that seems strange: the 'Arm Away' value in my System Status and Partition 1 devices in Homeseer is still set to 103 (I did not change it to 106 as instructed) and I am still able to set the Alarm to Arm Away from Homeseer.
The instructions for the plugin refer to version 1.27, and I've been unable to find more up-to-date instructions, so my apologies if all of this is explained in a newer help file somewhere - if it is, could you point me to it? If not, any ideas as to what is causing this behavior?
I'm not asking about all of this because I'm intentionally trying to find weaknesses in the plugin (!) - I'm very much of the school of "if it ain't broke don't fix it." However, as I documented in another post, I am receiving a nearly constant stream of 'Skipping bad message' entries in my Homeseer log file, and while I understand from you that this is not causing any problem in functionality it is making my log file unusable. If I could find a way to stop the logging I probably would't care about these other issues other than to simply be curious about them - and perhaps the info will be helpful to you as you continue to develop the plugin.
Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
Regards.
Thanks.
