If you have the RFXrec433E or RFXtrx433E use Ext2 firmware. Enable Lighting4 and X10 and the Kerui sensors are decoded as X10 security sensors.

Ext and Ext2 firmware can only be used in the RFXrec433E or RFXtrx433E.

It is not possible to receive the Kerui sensors as X10 security sensors using the RFXrec433 or RFXtrx433 which can only use Type1 or Type2 firmware.
You should be able to receive the Kerui sensors as Lighting4 sensors with Type1 or Type2 in the RFXtrx433 and select only Lighting4.

I've had my RFXtrx433 for a good few years now so i suspect its one without the E.
I'll have no problem using this sensor as an input device. I'ts seems ok so far. I'll keep everyone posted because cheap, reliable sensors aren't readily available in the UK.
Thanks for your support Bert. It's appreciated as always.

Ed, you have already an E version and the sensor should show up as motion sensor.

I know I must be doing something wrong then.

If I load the ext or ext2 firmware then
RFXMNGR will connect but reports no
            E hardware detected.
            and stops displaying anything

The sensor in fact does show up as a DS10 With the firmware loaded now. I am lost as to what I am doing incorrectly

            Thanks

                  Still no joy

This sensor shows up as a DS10 in the plugin in HS 3.

in the RFXMGR it shows as a motion.

                  So why is that please.

what is received in the HS log from the sensor if you enable debug level 2 for the receivers on the RFXCOM General config page.

Ed, you are right. RFXrec firmware version 1025 and RFXtrx433E Ext2 firmware version 1025 are corrected and will receive the sensor as motion sensor.
The firmware 1025 will become available soon.

Bob, those sensors are received by the RFXrec. For door/window sensors use the small rounded version! The rectangular version transmits only Lighting4.
