    Playing streaming radio with HS

    Is there a simple way to stream a radio url using HomeSeer using a script or event without buying 3rd party hardware

      Thanks for responding.

                on, do not know if you can help as my problem is winamp not your plugin, that works perfectly.

                I downloaded the link for Radio Scotland from the web site you suggested
                http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/...cotlandfm_mf_p and put it into the inifile as so
                Code:
                [Presets]
                1=Love Songs Florida Plus [URL]http://uk2.internet-radio.com:8143/listen.pls[/URL]
                2=Radio Four   [URL]http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcmedia_radio4fm_mf_p[/URL]
                3=Radio Scotland   [URL]http://bbcmedia.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcmedia_scotlandfm_mf_p[/URL]
                [Data]
                Class=Winamp v1.x
                LastVol=255
                However nothing plays., the first preset works

                any ideas?
                thanks

                  Did you use a tab between the radio name and the URL (no spaces) i.e. Radio Four<tab key>http.... ?

                  Did you press the Update presets button on the Winamp Root device (look at the log to see that it has completed)?

                  BTW I added both to my Presets ini file and both worked fine here.
