So you did not use the bloccupied trigger? Instead you selected absolute time? So that means you did not input any time in the option screen?

Just checking thru the event and the trigger is suppose to be "Simulation start". The question to ask is who or what emmits the Simulation start trigger?

You want to use the event actions, not triggers
          Cheers,

              Hector:

If you look at the events I posted above, the heading on each section labels each part of the event, same as on your system.

I tried to explain the difference above, but I guess I didn't.

The bloccupied event triggers will trigger events based on the sim starting or stopping.

The bloccupied event actions will start or stop the sim - sort of like enabling or disabling the plugin. As Bob said, you need a couple of events to do this.

The times in the option screen define the window when the sim will turn the lights on and off, if the sim is started. The on/off activity will vary randomly according to how it's set up in the options screen.

                Regards
                Michael

This never seems to work right for me either. If I start the simulation, lights start going on/off, irrespective of the times I enter in the setup. Blade, are you sure there isn't a bug here?

                      Hi,

This used to work for me but now has stopped!
                      I'm running HS3 on Server 2012.

If I start the sim from an event, the log says BLOccupied Info Occupancy Simulation has been started!
When I stop it, BLOccupied Info Occupancy Simulation has been stopped!

However none of the devices ticked in options come on. I have ticked debug, but where is the debug log saved?

Nothing is appearing in the main HS3 log other than the references above.

                      Cheers

Look in the the HS directory, it should say something like blocuppied.log more or less

Log a ticket and capture a debug log of the issue. Then attach the BLOccupied-Detailed.log file zipped to the ticket

Blade - where do I log a ticket?
