Can't Delete Thermostat

I admit it. I tried configuring the plugin before reading the instructions.

I created a thermostat with the name Living Room and an ID of 1 (thinking it was just basically and ID to distinguish thermostats and not related to the Honeywell stuff).

I then created a second thermostat (same name) with the correct ID and all works. However, I cannot delete the first, errant thermostat.

The manual says to highlight and press remove. There is no way to do this. There is a red X which I would interpret as remove; clicking it appears to do nothing.

How do I get rid of it?

Disable the plugin, then delete all the thermostat devices for the one you don't want (or delete them all if they're not built out correctly in either). When you restart the plugin, you can then add your thermostat back if you need to, otherwise you should be good to go.
