Fibaro Relay 2 x 1.5kw module

Hi,

I have included a fibaro relay 2 x 1.5kw module. I don't seem to be able to see the status. it is remained unknown. I can on and off both switches without any issue though.

Hi Wanaka,

Which Z-Wave plugin version are you running?

That's definitely a communication issue of some sort. Even though it's a Gen5 device just try a couple of full optimize. That sometimes helps by sorting out the routing table. If that doesn't help, delete all devices for this switch except the master device and run a Rescan.

I can see from the devices created that this is a version 3.x firmware, so your associations should be

Group 2 - Homeseer (ID: 1)
Group 4 - Homeseer (ID: 1)

This is enough for switch functionality. Optionally (only needed if you want to use this switch to control a multilevel device like a dimmer or shutter) add

Group 3 - Homeseer (ID: 1)
Group 5 - Homeseer (ID: 1)

Group 1 (life line) doesn't work at all with HS (in my experience)

Alex

Another odd thing here is that the status for the two switches is unknown, but they seem to have been set at some point. Can you check the "Advanced" tab in the device settings for one of the Switch Binary? Should look something like this:

it look I can only associate

group 1 to end point 1
group 2 to end point 2

I try different combination it doesn't work at all for example group 2 1 endpoint is ok but group 4 2 endpoint it won't add at all.

I reset the zwave plugins remove and add it back to clear the error.

As for the status update issue I resolve it by only having group 3 associate to homeseer and yes it get update when I on and off the button

Now the status get updated but I still have the following issue.

When i click the study fan or study light the status get update to show whether it is on or off.

However if someone go and push the physical button the switch multilevel 1 get update but not the study fan.

Hi Wanaka,

I know all of the symptoms you describe. I've seen all of them and they were always related to associations. What are your associations looking like right now?

Cheers,
Alex

i have only associated group 2 and 4 to homeseer. The only way to solve this stupid issue is I have to link multilevel 1 to binary 1 then the switch status will update correctly. When someone push the physical button multilevel 1 will trigger binary 1 status to reflect correctly.

No sure whether this is the right way but since support also has no reverted anything from the past few days so I just try to work around by doing that

Had the same problems as everyone else and was doing a lot of convoluted things to get it working. Changing associations, linking the multilevel switch to the binary switch etc......
Removed the node and readded in nonsecure mode. Everything is working including status of the switch when changed manually and power reports. Did not have to modify anything. Details are below:

Auditing node 55 (Node 55 Z-Wave Fibaro Switch Binary) ...

HomeSeer was able to send a frame to the node.
HomeSeer was able to query the node and receive information back from it.
The node's neighbor rating is: Acceptable with 9 neighbors.
Neighboring nodes to Node 55 Z-Wave Fibaro Switch Binary:
Node 7 Z-Wave rootLabDimmer (Node 7)
Node 20 Z-Wave rootLiving2Lamps (Node 20)
Node 21 Z-Wave rootACLab (Node 21)
Node 26 Z-Wave rootLabMotionAeon (Node 26)
Node 27 Z-Wave rootDrivewayMotionAeon (Node 27)
Node 34 Z-Wave root4.2UPS (Node 34)
Node 35 Z-Wave root5.4UPS (Node 35)
Node 39 Z-Wave rootLivingAc (Node 39)
Node 49 Z-Wave rootLabDeskLight (Node 49)
This node supports associations on the following groups:
Group 1:
Node 1 Z-Wave zStick1 (Node 1) (EP 1)
Group 2:
Node 1 Z-Wave zStick1 (Node 1) (EP 2)
Group 3:
Node 1 Z-Wave zStick1 (Node 1)
Group 4:
Node 1 Z-Wave zStick1 (Node 1)
Group 5:
Node 1 Z-Wave zStick1 (Node 1)

Finished!
