    Can't get Plugwise Pligin working

    Hello everybody,

I'm busy for two days now and can't get the HS3 Pluswise Plugin working again. a fem months ago it was working while testing

I re-installed the 'Pluswise Source', I re-installed the plugin several times, I even re-installed homeseer but nothing helped me solving the problem. That's why i decided to ask you guys for help.

The Plugwise Source is installed on a system with IP-address 10.0.1.14. I can control my plugwise devices from over here.

HS3 is running on a system with IP-address 10.0.1.57. I can access the Plugwise page on http://10.0.1.57:8080 from my 'homeseer system' and can also control my Plugwise devices from here.

But when I open homeseer and try to control my Plugwise diveces nothing is happening. This is what the logging says:

    Logging:

Can someone please help me invetigating/solving the problem?

    Thanks in advance,

Hi, plugin might not be able to reach your source. Few suggestions:

    * is the port 8080 you use for source okay?
    * Is there a firewall in your way (try while temporarily disabling firewall)

another thing you can try is use the plugwise pro plugin. With this plugin you don't have to have source running, so this problem won't occur.

I have switched over and it's a nice and stable plugin.

Maybe a stupid question, but did you copy the HS_statistics.xml to the Source webserver directory ? (See documentation for details)

@Pheaton; I did already try to disable my firewall, no changes in the errorlogging.

@Rien; I'm afraid you're right, I didn't do anything with the HS_statistics.xml file after reinstalling the Plugwise Source/Server.
I'm not at home now so I can't check, but I will do this directly when I'm at home.

In all honesty I can say that I did search the forum for documentation (just as I used with your HS2-plugin) but I couldn't find it.
I assumed no extra files where necessary and only installing the plugin was enough to get it working. But I guess I was wrong.

Can you please help me by telling where I can find the documentation?

        Thank you so far.

            Rien,

            Thanks for your quick reply...

So the documentation comes together with the installation of the plugin?

                You where right Rien!

After copying the files from the Homeseer dir to the Plugwise dir everything works fine.

Thank you very much for the help and for the Homeseer education :-)
