    weatherXML Maps Feature Requests

Please post any feature requests for the Maps section of weatherXML.
I am going to be rewriting this section to not rely on an ini file and will consider feature requests.

Jeff, the ability to reorder the maps would be great.

I'm pretty much out of my depth, but it appears there are some map building capabilities via .php. See:

PHP is a web language that needs a server running.
You would need to setup a PHP server and then install the PHP project. That app would then grab the data and build the images. The app could then be setup to save the images to a particular directory.

I would not want to try to support the install, setup and running of the PHP server or the PHP pages setup. I don't have any experience with PHP.
If that is something that you want to do, then once you have it working, set the images to be saved in a folder under the HomeSeer HS3/html/images/ directory.

OK, thanks. I have php running on the server that hosts my website, but I think that is more of a project than I want to tackle before winter. I'll look into it again... Thanks for looking at it.....

The maps rewrite is finished. No longer are settings saved in an ini file.
I've been running the new changes on my development server for a couple of weeks and on my production server for the past week.
This new version has been running error free but because it is such a big change I would like to get some closed group testers before I call it a beta and put it in the updater beta section.

If you are willing to test send me an email at jeff at myautomatedhome dot net. I will reply with a file so you can download this version.
