No caller ID in HS Phone!

    Hi -

I'm running HS3 Pro Edition 3.0.0.280 (Windows) with HSPhone. I'm using Way2Call as the interface. It works fine, and has been recording inbound messages for years. I am now wanting to take advantage of the capabilities and direct scam callers whose numbers I know to a voicemail message.

The problem is that HS is not capturing the callerID info - it does get displayed on the actual telephone handset - so I know that CallerID is working in general, but Homeseer is somehow not capturing the info.

I checked the CallerID config in HS3 and it seems like it should be correct. I have set a limit of 50 numbers.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

    Thanks.

Try deleting the HSPhone configuration file or rename it and create a new configuration with HSPhone / Homeseer in off mode first. Start it it and it will create a new configuratin file. Go to the HSPhone configuration and reconfig it.

In Phone Setup, under "External Call Settings," what do you have for "Number of Rings to Answer After:?"
