Controlling LG and GE air conditioning units remotely

Hi guys

I have 3 ac units I want to control with ir. All 3 are could be reached with emitters from a single Ip2ir or wifi2ir

Is this all I need (and gcir plug-in)?

If so, how do I make sure LG ac on command for unit 1 only goes to unit 1?

Has anyone controlled GE and LG air conditioners with these. I hear the strings are really long
