    setting and disarming alarm

Lights and buttons are working with alexa so im getting that figured out but i am struggling with arming away and disarming with alexa. I got it to are by saying alexa run away but i am unable to disarm . I know its just the settings but i dont know how or what to set. Can someone walk me through it. Sometimes i think im getting to old for this stuff. I used a step by step guide but that only included lights and buttons. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

For arming and disarming, I would use a virtual device and a couple of events to arm/disarm the house. Here's the rough steps:

Create a new HS device called "House Alarm".
Make sure the voice command checkbox is checked (leave Voice Command blank).
Log into your Alexa app and Discover Devices.
Make sure the new device shows up as "House Alarm".
Now, create 2 events in HS to turn the above device ON or OFF.
    The Alexa commands would be:
Alexa, turn on the house alarm
Alexa, turn off the house alarm
Note that it's not a good practice to allow disarming your alarm with a voice command. The idea being you wouldnt want someone to yell Alexa, turn off the house alarm, etc.
