Plug in disconnects from OMNI panel

Lately I've been having this problem -- both with the HAI beta version as well as the new OMNI version: Everything will work fine for days, then all of a sudden the OMNI plug-in stops communicating with the HAI/OMNI panel. Rebooting HomeSeer makes Current Date/Time: 10/21/2017 10:36:53 AM
    HomeSeer Version: HS3 ZEE S2 Edition 3.0.0.368
    Linux version: Linux HomeTrollerZeeS2 3.18.11-v7+ #781 SMP PREEMPT Tue Apr 21 18:07:59 BST 2015 armv7l GNU/Linux System Uptime: 1 Day 16 Hours 47 Minutes 3 Seconds

    Enabled Plug-Ins
    3.0.0.5: CM15A
    2.9.1.0: InControl Server
    1.0.0.0: InControl WinPhone
    3.0.2.4: OMNI
3.0.1.130: Z-Waveit reconnect, but then it happens again a few days later. The OMNI panel communicates well with two HAI touch controllers, and the HomeSeer is having no trouble communicating with PC's on the LAN or Internet. Any ideas?

It's hard to say. The ethernet port in the panel is very old and prone to issues if plugged into a gb switch. Can you plug it into a 10/100 hub as a test to see if that helps?

Done. Plugged the panel directly into the router. HOMESEER is still plugged into a switch, however. I guess we'll have to wait a few days to see if that fixed it.

      Thanks

The network port issue is documented with Leviton HAI CS folks. It is related to an overly promiscuous network design that see's everything.

Initially it presents itself as a time thing with time going off minutes per day. Then you see issues with serially connected devices like the Omnistat and Omnitouch 5.7 screens.

Eventually it just does a disconnect of the network port. This issue cropped up way long time ago (before the Omni Plugin).

It is not seen on the Omnitouch 5.7e cuz the touchscreen caches the info. I never noticed any issues on my Omnitouch 5.7e screens, HD IP cameras et al.
