    me.visible = true

My server broke down and I have a new one now.
When I restore my backup, I get the following when starting xapmcs1Wire.exe,
I have the icon in the taskbar, but it stays gray.
When I move the mouse over it I get the box me.visible = true
When I run OneWireViewer.jnlp I can see all my one wire sensors.

    Please advice.

There is a .txt file in a subfolder of xapmcs1wire that will contain error log.

I think I found the problem. When I disconnect my 1 wire lan cable, xapmcs1Wire is working again. When I connect it, I have the same problem. The lan cable is divided in 3 sections. By connecting them in a different order, it was working again. So I think I have a network with difficulties. I changed the read time from 5 seconds to 30 seconds, because of the bad network the reading of the devices takes longer than 5 seconds and this is 'hanging' my 1 wire lan. I still get errors now and then in my log of homeseer, but it is working again. Is there a way to 'test' your 1wire lan to find any bad connections? Because I think I have one.
        Example of an error log:
        <TABLE cellSpacing=2 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=LOGDateTime0 noWrap align=left>7/26/2008 21:16:56 </TD><TD class=LOGType0 align=left colSpan=3>xapmcs1wire </TD><TD class=LOGEntry0 align=left colSpan=8>mcs.onewire.doberman | sensor a500080154ebbb10 (tuingrond temp 20 cm) com.dalsemi.onewire.adapter.onewireioexception: native tmex error -12 at 320</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
        or:
        <TABLE cellSpacing=2 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=LOGDateTime1 noWrap align=left>7/26/2008 21:11:54 </TD><TD class=LOGType1 align=left colSpan=3>xapmcs1wire </TD><TD class=LOGEntry1 align=left colSpan=8>mcs.onewire.doberman | sensor 400008001b3ffb10 (buiten temperatuur) com.dalsemi.onewire.onewireexception: 1-wire adapter communication exception at 320</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I use the OWAPI via JAVA so I do not have low level visibility as to the errors or diagnostics. There are no design provisions in xapmcs1wire to allow multiple masters to drive the same 1-wire LAN.

I am still having communication errors on my 1 wire lan.
Can I use the 6 Channel Hub from Hobbyboards to split my 1 wire lan into multiple parts with Xapmcs1wire software?

I received my 6 channel hub.
I am running xapmcsHub, but how can I switch on the channels?

when I run OneWireViewer Application, I can switch them on there, but I suppose this must also be possible in Homeseer?

                Please advice.

Somewhere on here there is a sort of 1wire primer written by telefragger that I found very useful, not a 100% but pretty darn close. Search is you're friend for this. It's a failry involved setup but once you're done the 6 channel hub works really well.

I read the doc but still have problems.
When I click on search for devices, the 3 leds on the hub go on and off one by one and it can read my devices. But after that the leds stay off and I don't get any input anymore. I also have some switches and putting them on also does not work. Do the leds have to stay on all the time or do they have to go on at the polling time?
When I first switch them on with onewireviewer and then start the xap1wire application it is working and the leds stay on. But as soon as I use search for devices they go off again.
                    Please advice.

3 leds go on and off and sensors are updated!

I know what you mean, 1wire is still mostly a mystery to me. I spent three or four days getting it to work. I still don't know exactly what I did that finally brought it all together and up an running. I'm using two of the six channels right now and getting ready to hook in a third. If i look at the LED's on the hub the only one that's lit right now is the power LED but it's sending it's data along and I'm getting updates in HS just fine. Every once in a while I'll notice that one of the LED's go from off to lighting in red but I don't really know what that means and my HS server is in a closet in the equipment room and I don't see a lot of it to notice what lights up and what doesn't and when, I'm just happy my sensors are updating.

The LED follows the branch that is currently connected branch. You will expect the LED to change at a rate based upon the polling intervals setup for the various branches.

Oh, you learn something every day, that makes sense to me. So if i have one LED that is constantly on that would be telling me that either I have it set to poll too often or I have too many sensors on one leg and they're being bogged down a bit.

On my hub the last polled channel stays on.
