    Device status in e-mail?

    Hi.

I use e-mail to control some virtual devices.

I would like to know the state of a device.

I can not find a list of possible commands with e-mail control.

Is it possible to get a device state with an e-mail?

    Regards
    Morten

There is a section in the help file title using replacement variables, in emails you can include these replacement variables to show a devices status.

    $$DS:A1

would give you the device status of A1, the device status is on/off/dim.

      Never thought of that. :-)

      It works fine.

I made an e-mail sending event with $$DS:. Now I can send a mail to activate that event.

      Thank you.

      Regards
      Morten
