Will this plugin continue to be supported?

Now that Homeseer has their own IFTTT, are you committed to continue supporting and updating this plugin? I see it as useful, as some of us want to use IFTTT without using the Homeseer cloud service.

    yes I am
I will keep supporting it and personally using it because I'm not using the myHomeSeer cloud service

Just curious, How is using dropbox and IFFT any better than MYHS?

-Higher service availability (Dropbox versus MyHS).
-More user control over what goes out or can come in to my system (this plugin compared to allowing MyHS to be connected).
        -Choice is a good thing.

...just to name three off the top of my head.

if someone gain access to your MyHS account, he would have full control over your HS system, whereas if someone gain access to the dropbox account you use with this plugin, the worst he can do would be to be able to trigger the events you had configured to work with IFTTT.

another advantage of this plugin is that you can pass parameters from IFTTT recipes to HS events, see the last example in the User Guide

And you don't have to use your personal dropbox account with IFTTT, you can create one specifically for that purpose.
