Register TAP without hue app

Hello Wim,

How does your plugin register a TAP on the bridge? On the hue app there is a special menu for that but i don't want to use the hue app at all. Should it find the tap using scan for lights?

Sad news on this. Philips never disclosed the process needed for adding a Tap to the bridge. A scan will not work, becuase the Tap is really powerless

The only way I know is to use the Philips Hue app, you anly need to follow the process to add the taps, and then deinstall it. The hue app will add a few rules to the bridge which you can disable with the plugin again. If you need the space, you can delete the rules yourself. If you do not know how to you can send me an email, so I can explain it to you?
