HDMI Over IP Device

This is a cool idea. Cepro.com has an article on a device from Just Add Power (company name) that does HDMI over IP for about $300 on each end. It would be interesting to see how this could be incorporated with Homeseer.

I've been waiting for this! Knew it was only a matter of time. Now, when the price comes down...

Maybe I missed it, but how much band width does this take to pass a 1080p signal? What impact would it have on a typical LAN?

Would be fantastic remove the HDMI Switch and the fixed end to end "Hdmi - cat5 -- cat5 - HDMI" wires.

Especially if it could be HS controlled.

That should keep a wireless network busy. Time to move up to a gigabit LAN.

could u use one of the GC-100-6 rs232 adapters with a managed switch to control this through hstouch
