I have HS3 installed and cant find the plugin. Am I missing something? I haven't been around much so did the AC-RF2 plugin go away?

I have DS10a's and MS13's all over the house.. need to get these in..
    thx

There's no HS3 version, but there are 3 other plugins available (RFXCom, BLRF and SimpleRF).

    Cheers

so I'm confused.. I have used hs3 for a while with motions...

did ac-rf2 have a HS3 version or am I imagining it?

I never really got my system up and running with HS3 but I remember buying the upgraded price for it???

so I have the RFXCOM plugin... will it work with W800 then?

There might have been a beta released a few years ago. Yes, RFXCom supports the W800. I've been using that combo for a while now and it works great.

        Cheers

well that was it.. brain is starting to sink back in.. been a busy day..

found this in an old log....

          8/7/2013 8:50:31 PM ~!~Plug-In~!~Found plug-in: AC-RF3 Processor, version: 3.0.0.14

then I went to homeseer helpdesk and requested passwords...

now I remember... I upgraded RFXCOM plugin to HS3... ACRF3 was not going to get done ( I forget why... hope he is ok??? )...
RFXCOM did not support w800 yet...
          thus I bought BLRF....

W800RF32 support was not released for the HS2 RFXCOM plug-in in the past. The reason was not to compete with the ACRF plug-in.

As the ACRF plug-in is not released for HS3 the HS2 and HS3 RFXCOM plug-in support now:
            - RFXtrx433
            - RFXtrx433E
            - RFXrec433
            - RFXtrx315
            - Old RFXCOM USB
            - RFXLAN (both, with Lantronix or RFXCOM LAN controller)
            - and also W800RF32

The RFXCOM plug-in has also the integrated security panel.

                W800RF32A RS-232 in HS3

                Hi,

Does RFXCOM for HS3 support the W800RF32A RS-232 version (or solely the USB version)?

I'm using the RS-232 version with ACRF in HS2 (and RFXCOM for OS sensors). I would like to continue to use the RS-232 W800RF32A hardware with HS3 for 310MHz X10 as I have an external antenna already installed in the attic and range is great.

If RFXCOM doesn't support the RS-232 W800, what supported receiver is considered best for 310MHz X10 wireless devices?

Alternatively, is there any other HS3 plugin that supports my existing RS-232 W800?

                Thanks!
                Don

It is supported. I use the RS-232 version myself. Also use the RFXCOM receiver for OS sensors. Works great! - in fact I think it works better than the ACRF-2 plugin.

I'm trying to get a W800+ RS232 up which is supposed to be a drop in replacement for the W800RF32, can anybody confirm that the W800+ RS232 works with this plugin ???

                      TIA

The RS232 W800+ works just like the W800 in the RFXCOM plug-in under HS3.

Are you asking about the ACRF2 plug-in with HS2? I would expect them to look the same to that plug-in as well, but I haven't actually tried that combination.

Seems after reflowing the solder joints in the w800+ RS232 and using the demo program than restarting everything ,, all appears to be working fine...

                          Thanks for the reply...
