I had hs2 my computer crashed and I lost everything. I have a new computer with windows 7. We used an edgeport 8 for connecting temp 08 ,net caller ID ect. do I need to add hyper terminal to make this work , how do I add this. Also I will be running hs3.

No.
I had two Digi 8 port Edgports here hooked up to the HS2 Wintel box. I did keep hyperterminal configurations to test the Temp05/Temp08/Rain8Net/NetCID,W800, Cheaper RFID.
