Ha, the device support from the Homeseer plugin is laughable. They should just scrap it and pay you to include your plugin.

OK one liner, the PDF is great!

If I understand that right I can use the hub its then implied via local access, you mean the local LAN access I assume.

So if I buy your plugin along with a standard Insteon hub then from HS I can control the Insteon devices.

Sorry to be a pain, just want to get this right!

Suggestion: also identify the supported Insteon hubs by their manufacturer number (2242-xxx, 2245-xxx, etc.)

Does the MNSandler Insteon Plugin support the Insteon 2242 hub via LAN access?

The document states that X10 devices are supported. I had thought that only the older 2242 hub supported X10 and that the newer Insteon 2245 hub had dropped X10 support.

The plugin does support all Hubs via LAN access. And I believe you are correct that the 2245 does not support X10. I can update the document to clarify this. I'll test my 2245 first

I had read that it is possible to add X10 devices to the hub using the Android app, but not the iPhone app, for the newer hub.

I just tried my 2245-222 hub fw 9E and it *does* send and receive x10 cmds

Jan-03 4:41:33 PM Insteon Processing Received X10 Command: A All Units Off

my guess is smarthome dropped x10 support in their app, not the physical device.

Insteon Sandler plug in for HS3 no longer working

I use LAN connection to the Insteon Hub II ... looks like they are now using https and refusing connection on http.

Are others experiencing the same issue, or is it something with my config?

You may want to check out this post... https://forums.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=196335

A update from Smarthome basically rendered the Insteon hub useless to everyone using Mark's Insteon plugin... I would suspect that the same is true for HomeSeers Insteon plugin.

You may want to verify your hub version and revert back.
