I expect that you will find that the UUID and Major/Minor IDs are all the same. You can leave the UUID, but differentiate the major /minor between beacons using the Rad app. Set the minors differently for each is what I do.

When you trigger the webhook test it should then create different HS3 devices for each beacon under a group for your phone. If you've created GeoFency fences, those should also be in the group. For a second user (2nd phone with GeoFency) those devices will be under a different group in HS3.

James will do. I'm currently fighting a Double router issue. My internet solution is via Satellite (Excede) (price to pay living in the country), well they increase the cap from 18 GB/Month to 150 GB/Month with faster speed using a new Modem with built-in Router & Wifi which capwise solves a lot of monthly cap overtures. The problem I ran into is that their Router & wifi solution is no where in the same league wise as my EA9500 (Linksys) but since the Satellite Modem uses their Router hardware as the primary router and my router become a glorified network switch that doesn't play well between the routers and to add injury to insult their on two different subnets. All said and done I can't get to my HS3 externally via IP DNS provider e.g NoIP or DYN ect. which means that when I attempt to do webhook tests they fails constantly. I though for fleeting moment that I fixed the problem as it was working but created another elsewhere I'm awaiting a replacement modem only in the next 3-5 days. So iBeacons will have to wait... Mike

If you have a NO-IP DDNS there is a Windows application that will keep your DDNS IP updated constantly and is independent of your network devices. If you can set up port forwarding and use the DUC client to keep the Dynamic Domain updated, you should be good. I run the app on my HS server. At the bottom of the page, they also offer Linux and Mac clients if your HomeSeer is running Linux.

Randy, I currently have NoIP installed the DUC is able to see my external IP but when I perform "PortCheckTool.com" it sees my Public IP address but when I put a known Port forwarding port number it comes back as "Problem! I could not see your service on XX.XX.XXX.XXX.XXX on port (8000). Reason: No route to host." Since I have two routers that are operating on two different subnets, looking at my satellite/Router is operating on IP 192.168.10.1 whilst my Linksys Router is operating on IP 192.168.0.1 when looking at the each Router Port forwarding they will not allow different subnets to be inputted. So either I put my main computer and HS3 computer on the 10 subnet or leave it on my 0 subnet which doesn't disturb static IP devices, unless you have something in your bag of tricks or experiences? So.. I'm awaiting a replacement modem only solution in the next 3-5 days which will return me back to my original working system setup of two weeks ago, Mike

This is Rube Goldberg... If I understand your routers topology, they are in series. The first router will have to port forward to the second router's IP and the second router will have to forward to your HS server.

Assuming your Satellite router provides an IP of 192.168.10.1 to your Linksys router you will have to forward port 8000 to 192.168.10.1:8000 on your satellite router, then your Linksys router will forward 8000 to your HS server 192.168.0.XXX:8000.

Randy, again thanxs for pulling a trick out of your bag and providing the serial routers topology guidance I can confirm that is works, obviously it is not always totally clear for those of us that are router mentally challenged especially for routers on different subnets, I would not logically think to set both router portforwarding to the same ports, IP devices on different subnets would make both of them work together.

I was able to successfully conduct webhook tests for each of my iBeacon (3x) which in turn created new PHLocation children devices with the same GeoFency names. I'm a happy camper I was able to test each of my devices for Enter/Exit status in both GeoFency app and PHLocation plugin. My 1st car USB work great as the USB only gets power when the ignition is turn on.

James, many thanxs too for your support and multiple responses in helping me move forward with iBeacon's in general along with plugin specifics. I found that turning my iBeacon's power level to -18 (~ 1/4 of the sliding bar) and left the advertising rate at the max, seems to in my case facilitate have the iBeacon's discovery around 10 feet (obviously walls and materials affect the range) this in my case avoids iBeacon overlap to great deal. I now need to get another for my second vehicle and begin to cobble together some working events (any suggestions/examples you mind sharing?), thanxs Mike

Rube Goldberg was known for ridiculously complicated machines to do simple tasks. The term "Rube Goldberg" was used around my household whenever a project became overly complicated. The Hasbro game "Mouse Trap" was fashioned after his style.

My dad and I used to build such contraptions when I was a kid.

The name "Rube Goldberg" had looked familiar but I couldn't place it, thanxs for making the connection and explaining it, makes better sense. This makes the 2nd conversation we've had in regards to your childhood memories and your father (his impressions/wisdom left their influences with you (which is a good thing)). Mike

Good to hear that you have it working.
Most of my events are using a trigger of crossing a geofence, with a condition of being in the car.

                        A couple of examples:

IF PHL Geofency Home - Small Radius Changes and becomes Near
AND IF PHL Geofency Audi RadBeacon has a value equal to Near
AND IF Garage Main Door Control has a value equal to Closed
THEN Set Garage Siren to On
                        THEN Wait 5 Seconds
THEN Set Garage Siren to Off
THEN Set Garage Main Door Control to Open

IF PHL Geofency Ferry Changes and becomes Not Near
AND IF PHL Geofency Audi RadBeacon has a value equal to Near
                        Send Pushover Message (to wife)
Play "Daddy's nearly home" on Sonos TTS

I have a bunch of others and sub-events relating to lighting when coming home etc.

                        Cheers

Finally got time to look at this.
When I try the URL. http://10.0.0.2:82/phlgeofency on my webbrowser:

There is no password request. and I get this on the webbrowser: "404 Bad Request: /phlgeofency"

                            Any inputs on that error?

Is 82 the port number you have configured for the PHLocation web server? If it is, make sure your firewall allows it. Temporarily disable your firewall to test.
