cheesy speaker that breaks at the sight of them..... or is it like when your driving down the road and that guy in the white van tells you that he has a set of speakers left over and will sell them to you???

The spec's don't look bad, but i'd be carefull, you know the old saying, "if it looks to good to be true, it probably is"

The odd thing is the only listing i can find for them is on ebay.

Definitely the dude in the white van. They are tiny, the sensitivity rating is very low. For just voice announcements they'd be OK but not much more. I'm using 8" speaker pairs in most rooms and they sound very good.

            Junk

The foam that connects the speaker cone to the speaker frame will start to disintegrate in less than a year. You will begin to lose volume and cranking up the amp will only worsen the problem. Eventually it will start to make vibration noises. I have had this problem with Acoustic Audio products in the past. Never again!

They are probably already "old" and the decomposition has already begun

            BE AFRAID!

My suggestion would be to buy just one pair if you can and try it out...

If they're shitty, that's not nearly as bad as buying 12 of them
