    Lost primary controller

    Hello,
I have lost my primary controller.

I was transferring from remote to HS and now the remote thinks it is a secondary controller, as HS does.

I was using a Cooper RF remote along with the Cooper USB stick.

Is there a way I can go into HS and manually edit something to tell it is indeed a primary?

I am unable to add devices, maintainence, etc. now and aside from telling HS it is a primary, I am going to have to start all over (ugh!)

HS does talk to the devices right now, (I can control etc.) just not add etc.

Thanks for any help on this one!!!

Were you using a fairly recent version of HomeSeer? It backs up node info to the file zwave_nodes.txt in the HomeSeer config folder. If you have this file, you can reset your USB interface (so its now primary), then load the nodes back in from the Z-Wave manage page.

      Thanks Rich!!!!

After I did what you suggested, I also reset the remotes (after verifying HS was back to normal) and transfered to them.

      Thanks again!
