One thing I was wondering about. . .is there a way to manually trigger a view to refresh device statuses? When I am testing devices getting controlled by an event, it would be nice to see the device status change instantly. . .but if that isn't feasible, how about a refresh status button at the top of each view?
I've been thinking about adding the refresh button to the devices screen. I'll look into that shortly.

You should see devices change state automatically if you setup the app to connect to the ASCII port in HS3, unfortunately that does not work if you're using MyHomeSeer.

Yeah, I saw that and tested it at home. Not sure I saw seeing consistent timely updates, but because there is no automatic local network detection to switch between myHS and local, I will usually be pointing to the myHS connection, even at home. That would be another cool addition. I can set my local network IP range (or something) and it would automatically use the local rather than myHS in that case. :-)

For messages that are posted, it would be great to support HS3 variable replacement, i.e. Call hs.ReplaceVariable (see hs3 docs for details) just before sending the message to clients.

Failed getting InterfaceStatus

I see that TeleFragger posted this same error back in February. Looking through the post I didn't see any comments on a fix, have you figured out the cause?

Thanks

Anybody using plugin with HomeTroller-SEL?

Hi all,

Has anyone successfully installed and run the plug-in in a HomeTroller-SEL? I've been testing on an Ubuntu VM, but I'm not sure how different is the Linux environment in the HT-SEL controller.

If you have been able to run it in that controller, did you have to do anything other than installing the mono-devel package?

Thanks!

To close the loop: this issue has been fixed in the newest version of the plugin. Thanks weslew and MarkN for helping with the investigation.

For those with a HomeTroller-SEL or Zee, please follow these steps before installing the plugin:

1. Install mono-devel: sudo apt-get install mono-devel
2. Install libsqlite3-0: sudo apt-get install libsqlite3-0

Cheers.

Is it possible to get a refresh or reload button. The app seems to get stuck on old data?

Hi - I've just migrated to an Android phone and would be interested in trying this app. Is that possible?
Cheers

Edit - found the app, installed and working.
Will have a play and report back if any issues.
Thanks

So I received an email asking for my email address - however, when replying to it, it bounced with bad address. It said "sent from TapaTalk" if that helps.

Please try again - I would like to try the app. (IOS)

When looking under the beta section i don't see HSBUDDY listed there. I have also checked under every other tab just in case it got moved. Is there something I am supposed to do before it will be listed under the beta tabs? I am running HS3 pro on Windows platform. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks.

The plugin should now be back under the Beta section.
